Home Care
Home care enables you to maintain your independence by helping you with daily household chores and personal tasks like: showering, dressing, toileting support, assistance with medication, Preparing food and meals. We also deal with other light household tasks (vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, dishes, changing bedding, and other basic household chores); Garden Maintenance - Keeping your garden in good condition is important for your comfort and safety. To ensure that you can use and enjoy your outdoor space while maintaining its best appearance, we can assist with grass mowing, gardening, gutter cleaning, and keeping outdoor areas swept and free of debris.

What it does

You will have time with your Lifetime Care Disability Customer Care Manager to discuss your interests, how you like to keep your home clean, and any particular goals or needs you may have. Our amiable and skilled Disability Support Workers might visit frequently or irregularly, several times per week or seldom, depending on your particular needs. We customize our services to fit your needs.

Construction & Design
Lifetime Care Disability is aware of how critical it is for people with disabilities to maintain their independence and safety in their homes. A ramp can be built into your home, doors are widened, bathrooms and kitchens are modified, grab rails are installed, environmental control devices are installed, or your home is automated. Modifications can be simple or elaborate.
We will walk you through the NDIS process, be there to explain it to you, and be available to you for any questions that might come up.
An occupational therapist must be involved in the delivery of any assistive technology, minor home changes, and significant home modifications under the NDIS.
In order to better understand your needs, your occupational therapist will: come to meet you and your family. Complete the initial home evaluation. Write the NDIS report according to the specified format. A scope of work for the modifications and/or equipment should be created. Builders, contractors, and equipment suppliers should be contacted for quotations. You should review a draft of the application before submitting it to the NDIS. Submit the application to the NDIS and respond to any inquiries the NDIS may have about the findings and suggestions. Contact the builder frequently throughout the construction phase Give a follow-up session to make sure the adjustments and equipment are being used as directed and are successful for you.
